Dragon on The Couch: The Dragon watched The Monster Club (Shudder), she enjoyed it and is a fan of Vincent Price. Next she watched Wishmaster (Tubi), a 90’s horror film. She thought it was ok and felt it was a passable C-list horror movie. Next, she watched The Woman King (Theatres). She enjoyed the film, but felt it was just a bit too long. Finally, she watched Pearl (Theatres), the Prequel to X. She really liked it, especially its tone and Mia Goth's acting.
Berto on the Bed: Berto watched Whiplash (HBO), he really loved it and thought it was such a great study on what it takes to be great. Next, he watched Cobra Kai (Netflix), season 5 was recently released. He thought it started slow, but eventually got better. Next, he watched Synecdoche; New York (Hulu), an Andy Kaufman film. He thought it was extremely weird but loved it. Next, he watched Lord of War (HBO), a movie where Nic Cage plays an arms dealer. He thought it had good moments but the film felt too rushed. He watched Cabin Fever (Prime), Eli Roth's first film. He thought it was a good fun 2000’s horror film. Next, he watched The Possession (HBO), an exorcism film. He thought it was an ok film, nothing special but not a waste of time. He watched Death Spa (Tubi). He felt it was a good 80’s silly slasher. He next watched Flight of The Navigator (Disney+), which he thought was ok and an ET ripoff. Finally, for Joe Bob Corner, Berto watched Things (Shudder), which he thought was a horrible film, and Evilspeak (Shudder), which was an ok but odd 90’s horror film
Dragon at the Movies: This week’s deep dive is the 1993 comedy So I Married An Axe Murderer, currently streaming on Hulu.
