Episode 114 - About Time

Dragon on the Couch: The Dragon and Berto both watched the 2022 horror movie Barbarian (HBO), which they both really, really liked. The Dragon then watched the new stop-motion film from the creator of Nightmare Before Christmas, Wendell & Wild (Netflix). She felt like it was a really cute children's horror movie and recommends. She watched Paths of Glory (Rent), a WWI movie by Stanley Kubrick that she loves. Lastly, the Dragon watched Clerks III (Rent/Theatres), the newest movie from Kevin Smith and she was surprised by the amount she liked it.

 

Berto on the Bed: Berto took the Dragon's suggestion and watched Deadstream (Shudder), which he loved. He finished the season of House Of The Dragon (HBO), which he also really enjoyed, especially juxtaposed against The Rings of Power. Berto also finished The Midnight Club (Netflix), which he really enjoyed throughout and felt Mike Flanagan did it again. In Michael Bay corner, he saw Ambulance (Prime), an action movie that knows what it is that he enjoyed. Next Berto watched True Lies (Hulu) which he felt was a good action movie. He saw Goldfinger (Prime), which he liked and appreciated that this was where the Bond tropes came from. Berto watched The Wretched (Netflix), a 2020 horror movie about a witch that he was surprised was as good as it is. Lastly, Berto watched Return to House on Haunted Hill (HBO), which he liked for what it was.
