Episode 53 - Sidekicks

Dragon on the Couch: The Dragon stayed on the couch this week and watched Basic Instinct (HBO), the 1992 Paul Verhoeven thriller that she absolutely loved. Highly recommends. She also watched the 2021 Nic Cage mystery drama Pig (rent), which she was loved and recommends. Podcasts also mentioned by the Dragon were Blank Check with Griffin & David and With Gourley and Rust.

Berto on the Bed: Berto switched to Hulu for his horror this week and watched the anthology Ghost Stories (Hulu), which he thought was "not a waste of time." Berto also saw Aftermath (Netflix), a haunted house movie he felt had terrible editing and camera work, but an ok premise. Finally, we visit Berto's History Corner with the documentary Cuba and the Cameraman (Netflix), which looks at Cuba over 45 years and that he loved.  

Dragon at the Movies: This week's deep dive is the 1992 Chuck Norris kid's karate movie Sidekicks, currently streaming on Prime.
