Dragon on the Couch: The Dragon ventured outside to see the French film Titane (theatres), which she really enjoyed and recommends you go into blind, but warns that you should really like body horror if you do. Also mentioned in this section was Raw (Netflix), a film by the same director. She also kept her John Carpenter streak alive with They Live (Peacock), a classic Carpenter sci-fi movie that is very fun, and Prince of Darkness (Peacock), a lesser-known Carpenter horror movie that she thought was great.
Berto on the Bed: Berto finished the show Midnight Mass (Netflix) and highly recommends. He also watched the Korean show Squid Game (Netflix), which he also really liked but felt they could have cut out some fat. While in the middle of Squid Game, Berto and his chick took a short break to watch Titanic (Netflix), which he felt was literally the perfect length with no wasted time. Still holds up. Lastly, Berto saw Annabelle: Creation (HBO), a perfectly ok horror movie that you can watch without seeing any of the other Annabelle movies.
Dragon at the Movies: This week's deep dive is the 1981 horror classic The Evil Dead, currently streaming on HBO.
