Episode 67 - 10 Things I Hate About You

Dragon on The Couch: The Dragon went to the theatre to see Ghostbusters: Afterlife (Theaters) which she spoils (sorry), but luckily she felt the film is terrible so no one should care. She also watched tick, tick… BOOM! (Netflix), the new Lin Manuel Miranda musical, which she really enjoyed. Finally, she watched Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (Rent) with commentary from the hosts of the podcast Til Death Do Us Blart, despite loving the podcast, she hated the film and can’t dissuade people from viewing it enough.

Berto on the Bed: Berto spent a lot of time on Tubi this week. First, he watched Wolf’s Creek (Tubi), an Australian slasher loosely based on a true story that he felt was alright. He then watched Fresh Meat: Jeffrey Dahmer (Tubi), a good documentary about one of the most famous serial killers. Next, he watched the 2006 remake of Black Christmas (Tubi), which he thought was a bit silly, but fun. Next, he saw the 2009 remake of Last House on the Left (Tubi) which he thought was alright, but the ending went on for too long. For Berto’s next segment Flix for Chix, he watched A Princess for Christmas (Netflix), which he thought was alright, but cheaply done. Next he saw Falling for Christmas (Prime), which had an absurd premise but had the fun tropes Berto likes in his holiday films. Finally, Berto watched Midnight at Magnolia (Netflix), which was missing some of the Christmas movie tropes, but was enjoyable.

On this week's deep dive, we watched the 1999 high school rom-com 10 Things I Hate About You, currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
