Dragon on the Couch: The Dragon went to the theater to see House of Gucci (Theaters), which she said was both a bad movie but enjoyable at the same time. She also went out to see Crime Wave (IMBD TV, Roku TV), a 1985 Canadian comedy that was odd but very enjoyable. Finally, she finished season 3 of Succession (HBO), which she said she really loved and feels it is the American version of British shows about royalty.
Berto on the Bed: Berto went to the theater to watch Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City (Theater), which he said was a bad movie unless you are a fan of the video games and wanted fan service. Next, he watched the 2019 version of A Star Is Born (HBO) and raved about how much he loved it, especially the directing and Lady Gaga’s performance. Berto also watched Silent Night, Deadly Night 1 & 2 (Tubi) and thought they were both fun 80’s slashers, despite the 2nd movie having a 40 minute recap of the first. For Berto’s next segment Flix for Chix, he watched 12 Dates of Christmas (Prime) a Groundhogs Day style film that takes place on Christmas Eve, which he found acceptable. He watched Single All The Way (Netflix) which he thought was great despite not rooting for the two leads to fall for each other. Finally, he watched Snowmance (Prime) which is an utterly insane fun Christmas movie where it’s alluded to that the main character falls for a snowman who’s been magically transformed.
Dragon at the Movies: This week's deep dive is the 2019 Christmas rom-com Christmas Catch, currently streaming on Netflix.
