SPOILER WARNING: Spoilers for Spider-Man: No Way Home from 8:30 to 19:35 and Hawkeye from 23:40 to 29:11.
Dragon on the Couch: The Dragon went to the theatre and saw Spider-Man: No Way Home, which she loved, and West Side Story, which she thought was ok but doesn't understand why it was made. She also finished the show Hawkeye (Disney+), which she generally really liked but can't stop comparing to WandaVision (Disney+). Lastly, The Dragon talked about two Nic Cage honorable mentions, Matchstick Men (HBO), which she felt was not a bad movie, and The Family Man (Fubo), which she actually thought was pretty good.
Berto on the Bed: Berto also finished Hawkeye and loved it. Then he went into his Horror Corner and saw: Silent Night, Deadly Night 3 & 4 & 5 (Tubi), all of which were differing levels of bad; An English Haunting (Prime), which had a good idea but terrible ending; Horsehead (Tubi), another good idea but bad ending; Nightmare on Elm Street (HBO), a classic he and his chick thought was ok; and finally There's Someone Inside Your House (Netflix), a newly made slasher that had a diverse cast but bad writing. In Berto's Well Made Movies Corner he saw: Encanto (Disney +), a Disney movie set in Colombia that he loved and made him cry like a baby; Licorice Pizza (Theaters), the new Paul Thomas Anderson movie that he also really enjoyed; and There Will Be Blood (Netflix), which he feels is the best Paul Thomas Anderson movie. Finally, Berto did one last 2021 roundup of his Flix for Chix and saw: My Dad's Christmas Date (Netflix), which he thought was decent with a good ending; A Winter Romance (Prime), which he thought was middling; A Match Made For Christmas (Prime), which he felt was really bad; Snowbound For Christmas (Netflix), which was "very bad, don't watch it"; and lastly Holidate (Netflix), which he really enjoyed.
Dragon at the Movies: This is a very special addendum episode where we look back at the movies discussed in 2021.
