Episode 73 - Desperado

Dragon on the Couch: The Dragon stayed on her couch this week and watched Philadelphia (Prime), which she had never seen before and thought was great, especially for its time. She also watched the new Paul Verhoeven movie Benedetta (rent), which she loved and highly recommends. The Dragon rounded out her movies with The Power of the Dog (Netflix), a western drama starring Benedict Cumberbatch that she also really liked. Finally, she was in the mood for some artsy shows and watched a bunch of Ink Master (Paramount+), which she loves.

Berto on the Bed: Berto ventured out to the theater this week and saw The Kings Man (theaters), which he felt was good if you can get past the first 40 minutes. On his bed, he watched The Eyes of Tammy Faye (HBO), which he felt was good but wasn't sure what the message was. Berto also watched The Ringmaster/aka Finale (Prime), a Danish torture porn film that he liked about half of. Finally, he saw Child 44 (HBO), a 2015 film starring Tom Hardy neither of us had heard of but that he felt had some good elements.

Dragon at the Movies: This week's deep dive was the 1995 Robert Rodriguez action film Desperado, currently streaming on Netflix.
