Episode 92 - Reservoir Dogs

Dragon on The Couch: The Dragon watched We’re All Going to the World’s Fair (rent), a small indie horror film with 2 actors. She thought it was fine, but expected more from it. Next, she watched Blood and Black Lace (Tubi), an Italian giallo film. She thought it was lots of fun and really enjoyed it. Finally, for Joe Bob corner, the Dragon watched Fried Barry (Shudder), a South African Sci-fi comedy. She thought the film was crazy, but perfect for Joe Bob’s presentation.

 

Berto on the Bed: Berto started in Joe Bob corner as he watched The Changeling (Shudder), a famous haunted house horror film from 1980. He said it was good, but has seen many films copy it so it was hard to appreciate. Next, Berto watched The Privilege (Netflix),a German supernatural horror film. He felt it was bad and then went crazy and just stupid. Next, Berto watched Grand Piano (Tubi), a thriller about a pianist and a sniper trying to make sure he plays everything perfectly. He said it was well done and parts were good, but the overall concept was just stupid. Finally, Berto watched Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker (Shudder), a cheaply made slasher from the 80’s that he said was crazy, but the weirdness it goes to is kinda fun to watch.

 

Dragon at the Movies: This week’s deep dive is the 1992 Tarantino crime drama Reservoir Dogs, currently streaming on HBO Max.
