Episode 97 - RRR

Dragon on the Couch: The Dragon finished the Sam Raimi Spiderman trilogy with Spider-Man 3 (Peacock), which was somehow her favorite of the three. She also saw the stop motion film 30 years in the making, Mad God (Shudder), which she felt had a strong first half and an ok second, but was very impressive nonetheless. The Dragon also saw the making-of film Jackass 4.5 (Netflix), which she enjoyed and recommends for anyone that is into the Jackass guys. In the theatre, she saw The Black Phone (Theatres), which she felt seemed like a good Goosebumps episode. Back on the couch the Dragon saw the Peter Jackson docuseries The Beatles: Get Back (Disney+), which she cannot recommend enough for anyone even remotely into The Beatles. Lastly, the Dragon celebrated midsummer by watching the director's cut of Midsommar (Hulu), which is one of her favorite movies.

 

Berto on the Bed: Berto watched The Rite (Netflix), an Anthony Hopkins is a priest horror movie he thought was fine. He then watched Seventh Son (Netflix), a fantasy movie that had its moments but was ultimately bad. In Joe Bob corner, Berto watched Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (Shudder), which he thought was a little boring. He also saw Blood Red Sky (Netflix), which he would have liked but it was too long and the second half fizzled out. Finally, Berto started the next season of the show The Boys (Prime), which he is really enjoying.
