Dragon on the Couch: The Dragon watched Mars Attacks (Hulu) and guys, it holds up. She jumped into Dragon's Complaint Corner to sh*t on Portrait of a Lady on Fire (Hulu) and professed her love for Call Me by Your Name (Amazon $2.99). She also watched American Movie (Amazon $2.99), a documentary about the making of the short film Coven, and loved both the doc and short.
Berto on the Bed: Berto stayed in the comedy field and watched Royal Tenenbaums (Prime), a Wes Anderson classic he highly recommends. He also watched and enjoyed the 90s rom-com Beautician and the Beast (Prime), starring Fran Drescher (national treasure).

Dragon on the Couch: The Dragon watched Nomadland (Hulu) and thought it was a touching, well done look at a specific type of American. She also jumped back into reality TV and revisited Ink Master (Netflix), and will go back to a high school favorite, Miami Ink (Prime) once that is done.
Berto on the Bed: Berto dove into Dragon's Morbid Corner this week and stayed on brand for the deep dive by watching Cannibals: Survival and Ritual (Prime), which he enjoyed but understands why others would find it boring, and reading The Indifferent Stars Above (book on Audible) about the facts surrounding the Donner Party, which he recommends.
This week's deep dive is the 1982 dark comedy Eating Raoul (HBO).

Berto on the Bed: Berto watched Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel (Netflix) and was disappointed with the too long docuseries. He also watched Framing Britney Spears (Hulu) and felt like history was rewritten.

She also watched Local Legends (Rent on Amazon) and was excited about her text convo with the director.
Berto on the Bed: Berto watched the supposed revenge movie M.F.A (Prime) and felt like it missed the mark.

Dragon on the Couch: The Dragon watched John Waters' Polyester (rent on Prime) with accompanying scratch and sniff card and the 2000 werewolf classic Ginger Snaps (Shudder, Tubi).
Berto on the Bed: Berto wasn't impressed with In & Of Itself (SPOILERS! Hulu) because he has no feelings. He also watched the documentary Strip Down, Rise Up (Netflix) which actually got him to feel, and the 2020 action movie Ava (Netflix), which missed the mark.

She also wanted everyone to know she reads (listens) to books and mentioned three morbid corner ones on death and dying: Being Mortal by Atul Gawande, The Art of Dying Well by Katy Butler, and Advice for Future Corpses by Sallie Tisdale.
Berto on the Bed: Berto watched the iconic When Harry Met Sally (HBO) and assured us all it is still the movie all rom-coms wish they were. Berto also watched Night Stalker (Netflix) and agreed the docuseries missed the mark.
